Springkit purred happily as she lay in the nursing shed taking a good nap. Her tail puffed with fluff and hear soft ears darted up. Then, her beautiful green eyes opened. She had heard something; Or someone... She got to her paws and looked around. The crack of sunlight that seeped through the sheds made her tawny fur look brown. Where was that sound coming from?

Dandy felt fur moving beside her. She opened her large blue eyes and stretched out her paws. Her tan fur shone as she got to her paws and noticed that Springkit was awake. "Oh it's just you. I thought- never mind." She meowed before throwing herself lazily onto the ground.

springkit turned around to her friend"i heard something!" she mewed and jumped over to her mewing like the kit she was"i swear its not a twoleg, it sounded like paws batting at something" she mewed again and turned to the door and back to her, not a single word escaped her mouth now
